The Title tag is one of the Big Three elements in your efforts to gain SEO traffic. I am sure you have heard this before, but I would be willing to guess that in your efforts to make every page on your website SEO ready, you often misuse the . By taking some time and going back through your web pages you would be shocked by the progress your pages will make in regards to SEO, Search Engine placement. Great title tags help get great SEO placement. It’s that simple! I know what it’s like, you spend the time needed to write an article that has great content and when you get done you just save the article and forget about proper SEO techniques. Love the content, but forget the SEO and you might as well have taken a nap. The Title Tag is the text that people see that draws them into your article. It is also the text they see in the live link that you have earned by writing some great content. If I was to forget the Title Tag in this message, I doubt that I would get any where near as many clicks to see what this stuff is all about. Less clicks, less visits to my web page. Before we go any further, let’s make sure we use the tag properly. If you use a blog and you are writing a post as I am doing here, then you should have an SEO plugin installed like Ultimate SEO. This plugin almost forces you to enter all of the correct information. Just follow the questions at the bottom of the post and make sure you take time to think about what you want. If you are doing HTML in one of its many versions, then you want to place the the Title in the head portion of the page. It would look like this <html> <head> <title>Title of the document

What ever you put between the is what the search engine will put as the link text for getting to the full article.

You should never use more than 8 or 9 words and it is very good to use your website name if it works out. Now you have the primary keyword for your site, it’s name and the primary keyword for the post that you are writing. If your domain name is not relevent, then do not use it. The title should make sense when it is read. To just place a bunch of keywords in a Title to just try and get them all in won’t help. It may get you some better placement in the Search engines, but you will be passed over for a title that makes more sense and the Title is interesting. Try to write the title a few different ways and see which one you like the best. The time and energy is well worth it.

My challenge to everyone reading this post is to go back and look at all of the pages that you use on your web site. make sure the Title Tag is being used properly and you will be rewarded for the time it took you to clean things up.

Using the Title tag properly is certainly something that well help with keyword lead generation. Notice how I got both keywords used again.

Why is Keyword Stuffing not as good as Turkey Stuffing?

Keyword stuffing is the practice of trying to get as many keywords into a sentence as possible. We hear so much about the importance in SEO to use keywords in any article that we write. Sometimes we have a few different keywords and we want to make sure we use them all.

Imagine that great feeling when you have completed and article and you sit back and say, I used every keyword I had. That is certainly going to help my SEO efforts.. Wrong!

Most search engines see the practice of stuffing keywords and they give you a negative rating for the effort. In addition to that, the reader knows you are stuffing the keywords. The reader makes a different observation than the search engine. When they read it they see poor writing skills based on all the keywords and come away with a negative feeling for the writing effort. Think about it.. “I am writing about keyword stuffing because I love high rank keywords that allow the reader keyword strategy lessons with SEO keywords that show you can use keywords six times in this sentence, but it read poorly” See what I mean!

Imagine a turkey with everything you like at thanksgiving being stuffed inside the turkey. How would your pumpkin pie taste that way?

You have so much more to gain by writing separate articles for each keyword. You get to write something that people enjoy reading. The search engine rewards you by showing your content because it is focused on a single keyword and the entire article relates to the keyword. You get to focus your writing on the content of the article vs using your energy to write complicated sentences that reflect a medium size list of keywords.

Score high with your SEO efforts by writing articles that have the intent to provide great content while at the same time focusing in on a major keyword and you will be rewarded with SEO traffic. After all, isn’t that why you write and contribute anyway? I hope I have not ruined your Thanksgiving holiday by planting this image in your mind that will surface as the bowl of stuffing goes around the table. My suggestion is don’t try to talk about keyword stuffing as it won’t be relative content. Oops, would keyword stuffing and relative content be a violation of what I just wrote?

Search engines love great content that focuses on a main subject. Give the search engines what they want and I bet they will return the favor.

The Hardest Component For A New Online Marketer Is To Get Leads

Two years ago I started marketing online and I was amazed how long it took me to get any leads at all. It wasn’t because I didn’t work hard and wanted to be successful, it was because I had no idea what I was doing.

Oh how we all remember those good ole Google days when you could write an ad about anything and sit back and watch the leads fly in.. GONE!

As an Internet Marketer working hard to get Internet Marketing Leads, I have had to accept the fact that we can’t do business the way we used to. The choices are very obvious, quit marketing or find other paths for Marketing lead generation.
